“Cub Scouts love to amaze and be amazed. Magic and mystery are two surefire ways to capture a boy’s imagination. Almost everyone enjoys magic, and no one more than a Cub Scout-age boy.” – Boy Scouts of America
As a scout leader, you know firsthand that Cub Scouts want to have fun. If you’re looking for a great way to reward your boys and provide a treat for their parents and families at your next pack meeting, what better Cub Scout magician than Steve Zany to entertain at your next Cub Scout gathering, blue and gold banquet or scout night.
“The boys, their siblings and parents had such a great time. You made everyone laugh and it was the perfect way for my Webelos to enjoy their last Blue & Gold, as they are crossing over next week. Thanks again for a job well done!

A long history with Scouting
During the past 25 years, he has entertained for Cub Scout packs and their families throughout RI and MA with his hilarious magic and ventriloquism show. In fact, one area Cub Scout pack had Steve entertain for their scouts 15 times!
Steve Zany started in Scouting at 7 years old in the former Cub Scout Pack 17 Crompton, moving on after Webelos to Boy Scout Troop 17 Crompton and then to Boy Scout Troop 10 Warwick. A member of the Order of the Arrow, Steve Zany also worked on the staff for several years at Boy Scout camp Yawgoog Scout Reservation in Hopkinton, RI as a Webelos senior patrol leader, and member of the camp’s challenge course staff. As a teenager, Boy Scout camp was the place he began to hone his skills as a kids magician, frequently performing at camp shows.
Today, Cub Scout magician Steve Zany also is a member of both the Narragansett Council and Annawon Council marketing committees and is a lifetime member of the Yawgoog Scout Reservation Alumni Association.
“We appreciated your professional approach and the quality of your performance.”
